NS1001 Phal. All Aglow 'Iowa'
(Donald Rigg x Wyocena)
$ 35.00
All Aglow 'Iowa'.jpg (30998 bytes)

An old favorite which is very similar to our Katie Morris line having one parent, Phal. Donald Rigg, in common. Has those deep orange tones thatare very difficult to produce

NS1080 Phal. Autumn Sun ‘Amy Lee’ HCC/AOS $ 25.00
NS1081 Phal. Autumn Sun ‘Newberry’ AM/AOS $ 35.00

Two beautiful deep yellow flowers that are almost identical twins were it not for the brown blush around the column of  ‘Newberry’ which is a bit more stunning.

NS1082 Phal. Baldan’s Kaleidoscope ‘Golden Treasure’ AM/AOS $25.00

Barbara Baldan’s real treasure that most orchid lovers have seen and wanted in their collection are now at a reasonable price. These are mericlones that we have flowered and are true.

NS1083 Dtps. Debi Masuga 'Pretty Lady
(Phal. Golden Wish x Neopolis)
$ 35.00

Deep artshade flower produced by an old gold x amethyst flowers. Both parents have branching inflorescences and a multitude of flowers.

NS9262 Phal. Donna Carruthers 'Vayle'
(Phal. Summer Wine x Star of Dixie)
$ 50.00
Phal. Donna Caruther 'Vayle'.jpg (32790 bytes)

Donna has two pluses to her credit. She is a summer bloomer and very fragrant. Has a fairly short inflorescence which is good for a fragrant coffee table plant.

NS1084 Phal. Ever-spring Light ‘Lin’ HCC/AOS $35.00
  One of the old timer harlequins which was awarded five years ago. Has long branching inflorescence that is truly graceful and lovely. White with magenta spotting
NS1085 Phal. Ever-Spring Prince 'Pretty Cat $ 50.00
mc528.jpg (47600 bytes) ‘Pretty Cat’ and ‘Harlequin’ are unique in the Taiwanese harlequins that we have seen offered. This is an 8.5 cm flower with a color pattern that creates contrast between the white background and harlequin overlay which is very irregular. In SC we call it tie-dyed and I love it.
NS1086 Phal. Ever-spring Prince T.F. $ 35.00

This is what we consider the standard, if there is such a thing, Golden Peoker progeny with white flowers overlaid with irregular purple blotching

NS1006 Phal. Flight of Birds ‘Flutterby Double Take’ $ 35.00
Our Flight of Birds was created in the mericloning process that caused the spots to double up giving it twice as many spots as the original ‘Flutterby’ HCC/AOS. A great improvement.
NS9321 Phal. Gloria Faye ‘Sharon’ AM/AOS
(Yellow Fantasy x Precious Pearls)
$ 35.00
NS9321.jpg (15446 bytes) Large 11 cm round flowers that are uniform yellow/green. Bloom on a long inflorescence with flowers perfectly shingled. Lip is white with an apricot callus. While both are pastel, ‘Sharon’ is slightly darker yellow.

  Phal. Gloria Faye 'Meditation' $ 50.00
GloriaFaye'meditation'~1.jpg (54608 bytes) See description above
NS1007 Phal. Golden Buddha ‘Raspberry Delight’ AM/AOS  $ 25.00

GBuddhaKP.jpg (90191 bytes)
P. Golden Buddha
'Ken Peterson'

Another old favorite that we believe should be in every good orchid collection. This clone has produced 'Ken Peterson' - see picture. "sepals yellow, almost completely overlaid with dark raspberry red spotting; petals solid dark raspberry red except for very thin yellow margin; lip mid-lobe dark magenta, side lobes yellow at base, red at tips; column lavender, anther cap white; substance very heavy; texture glistening; color outstanding; slight notch in dorsal sepal and tight arrangement of flowers prevented a higher score."
NS1087 Phal. Golden Peoker ‘Ever-spring’ $35.00

This where the harlequin line of breeding all began. Not a very pretty flower but one that produced a line of Phalaenopsis that has changed the way we all think about phals.

NS1088 Phal. Golden Peoker ‘Nan-cho’ AM/AOS $35.00

Another appealing flowers.

NS1089 Dtps. Happy King ‘Pine Ridge Orchids’ HCC/AOS $50.00

Our favorite ‘tie-dyed’ flower that is large, 12 cm, and striking.
Flowers are pink with random white and light pink streaks. Lip
is darker pink.

The next listings are for stems that were made last year and have about a 6” leaf span. Many are larger but none are blooming size now but expect all of them to be by the 2006 season. The cross has received many awards including an Award of Quality from the American Orchid Society. Phal. H. P. Norton is the first grex to be allowed by the RHS to have only initials as part of its name. I have given the plants clone names that give a hint to the color of the flower, other than the ‘Orchidview’ and ‘Kathy’ clones.

NS1090 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Brick Red’ $100.00
NS1091 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Copper Top’ $100.00
NS1092 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Kathy’ AM/AOS $125.00
NS1093 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Orchidview’ $100.00
NS1094 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Rose Red’ $100.00
NS1095 Phal. H. P. Norton ‘Ruby Red’ $100.00

NS1010 Phal. Hausermann’s Goldcup `Everlasting’ $ 75.00
HGCup2~1.jpg (56892 bytes)

If Golden Peoker was the beginning of harlequins, and

Golden Buddha at the root of red breeding, then Hausermann’s

Goldcup was the breakthrough for yellow breeding. We used

it for the first time in 1986 when we made Phal. Golden Daybreak.

Awards Quarterly Volume 30, page 343
‘Fourteen plants of consistent quality, presenting flowers with an array of attractive colors, exceptional substance and texture, on erect inflorescences some branching; hybridzer has achieved a high level of quality and desirability within this grex.’
We believe that you will be as happy with any of the above clones in this cross. They are all beautiful. ‘Burnished Copper’ is a true copper color, the color of our granddaughter Katie Morris’ hair. You know this is a special cross when it is named after our Grand!
NS9623  Phal. Kiss Me Kate 'Carol'
(P. Kaite Morris x Dtps. Neopolis)
$ 35.00
Using our favorite Katie Morris plant as pod parent and our ever popular (with us) Neopolis we came up with this dark pink flower in which you can see the undertones of the orange Katie Morris.
  Phal. King Decree 'HP's Choice'
